The Objective
To work alongside a copywriter from ADPR 323 and redesign a mural for a large format space that makes an impact and turns heads. Think about how you can use the space, scale, and environment along with your design to promote diversity in Nebraska.
The Approach
The goal of this project was to promote diversity in Nebraska. Each element was chosen intentionally, from the colors, to the copy. I wanted to showcase that everyone has a unique fingerprint, and when we come together, we can create a work of art. The corn field background has a watercolor overlay to add emphasis to just that. The colors of the squares are the state colors of Nebraska, while the fingerprints represent that of the sunrise and sunset, both things that inspire awe. When we nurture diversity, we allow people to grow and be the best version of themselves.
